Oats deserve love, in this form

As someone who vehemently opposes overnight oats, this is my reinvention of oats. In a new avatar, her glow up is beautiful, golden brown and colourful and sweet inside. And we all deserve her in our lives. Plus she is healthy. But doesn’t taste healthy you know?

Add dry fruits of your choice. You can add sugar or other alternatives if you like, there’s nothing stopping you, But please have oats this way, tomorrow morning, if not today! Pliss!

Ingredients

Oats – 108 g or 1 cup
Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
Raisins – 20g
Dried Kiwi – 30g
Mango fruit Leather – 50g
Almonds – 18g
Dry Cranberries – 20g
Apricots – 13g
Water/Milk – 250 ml or 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Grind Oats until it has a fine flour texture
  2.  Slice the almonds finely, chop the mango fruit leather into small cubes, chop the apricots carefully as well as the dried kiwi.
  3. Add baking powder in the oats flour, mix well and add in all the dry fruits and nuts
  4. Add water or milk of your choice. And let the mixture rest for 15 minutes
  5. It will thicken a bit and rise as well. If it it is too thick, add a little more water/milk of your choice and mixture slowly
  6. In a non-stick pan, brush minimal amount of oil. Pour in the batter.
  7. Cover with a lid and let it cook until the top of the pancakes have small perforations on them
  8. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes on low heat or until each side is golden brown
  9. Serve with powdered sugar or honey and fruits of your choice.  You can add a side of eggs or protein powder drink for protein
Enjoy!
All my love,
Feashts
